Moving In..

Well, we have left our little basement bungalow in Caldwell and moved to a nice apartment in Passaic. It was and still is a rough transition as we are used to having my brothers around and enjoying time with them...but this apartment is beginning to feel more like home especially since now life is much easier than before. I am loving my dishwasher and bathtub!! Its nice and warm..actually sometimes too warm. Today I had a tank top on it was almost 80 degrees! lol

Happy New Year!

In a way, I'm glad to see this year come to a close...it was a year full of uncertainty and trials. But it was also a year where we were blessed with a different kind of blessings. Our first baby was born and we have loved watching him grow and change and all of my grandparents got to see their first great grandchild. Because of the tanking economy, we learned how to manage money better and preserve food. We were blessed with the fact that my uncle survived a potentially terminal liver cancer. These are just some of the big events that happened this year. So through these bad times, we learned some good lessons. Thanks to God first for bringing us all safely through another year and may everyone have a healthy and Happy New Year 2010!

Thursdays...

I'm still teaching one student so every Thursday we go over their house and Tolis gets to spend some time with Michaela, Jodi, and Erica and their Grandma while I teach! Here's some pix from last Thursday.
